The Bristol Hotel San Diego

The room was clean. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Appreciated the snacks and coffee provided in the morning. Lobby was welcoming and cozy to be in. Rooms and corridor were nicely lit. Staff were helpful and clear with their explanations. Walking distance to Seaport Village, Gaslamp Quarter and the Convention Centre.

Honestly this property was perfect for the price! Located in an amazing area. No amenities but that was fine for a couple on vacation, we didn’t need them. Also no parking, but we chose rideshare anyways. This hotel exceeding my expectations, the room was way larger than expected and had a great view! They even let us check in at 1:30 even though check in wasn’t until 4, I cannot stay how much of a lifesaver this was as our flight landed at 7am!

The location of the hotel is excellent. We came for comic con and it was literally a straight line down to the convention centre. The Gaslamp District is a few blocks away and the main train station is also a few blocks away. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The hotel is incredibly quiet. I don't think we ever heard a noise from outside or the sound of anyone's door being closed along our floor. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We had a few issues in our room when we first arrived (TV and safe not working) and the staff sent the maintenance man up to the room within minutes to sort it out. Free WiFi is available and works well.

The hotel offered all the "must have's" for a comfortable stay. the room was classic yet stylish with a modern twist. the lobby also welcoming..the only thing that was missing was the restaurant, which I was told is soon to come. the service including the call requesting a new remote control was immediate, no waiting and service with a smile. The location also close to the the marina, Convention Center, restaurants and bars all over the place. I would highly recommend this hotel. Bravo !!

Basically everything was awesome.
